Wondering about how COVID-19 will affect your order?
We would like to highlight that all orders from March 13th to April 15th 2020 are experiencing severe delays.
All orders after April 15th will be delivered in usual delivery times.
You can check our delivery times here.
We appreciate your patience during these tough times, below is a letter from our CEO to all orders between March 13th 2020 to April 15th 2020.
My name is Andy Robertson and I am the CEO of BlueLightMentality.
I would like to start by expressing my gratitude for your order, as well as your ongoing patience in these uncertain times.
As a result of COVID-19, we are going through some delivery difficulties on orders from March 13th to April 15th, I would like to reassure you that your glasses have been manufactured and sent through export customs in China.
We have been in daily contact with our suppliers over the last few weeks and unfortunately, their 30-day delivery has not materialised as a result of a 90% reduction in global air freight.
We have tried to recall all BLM glasses so that we can expedite your shipment, but due to the status of shipments being ‘too far ahead’, this has not been possible.
The promising news is that The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) have stated “ it will almost double the number of weekly cargo flights to 1,989 during the week of April 20-26, from 1,014 flights before the epidemic struck. Of the 1,989 flights, 939 had been converted from civil flights.” China last month said it would increase international cargo flight capacity and stabilise supply chains amid the coronavirus outbreak - (Source; Reuters News Agency).
Your glasses have official tracking numbers and you can see that they are waiting to be shipped from China.
The relationship we share with our customers is something we are extremely proud of and would never jeopardise. Your 30-day money-back guarantee still stands and when your glasses arrive you can send them back to our UK office and receive a full refund.
Finally, I want to apologise for the delay and genuinely say thank you for your understanding through these tough times.
I hope you are all staying safe. We will all get through this.
There is some “Blue Light” at the end of the tunnel!
